At Sanitizebrush, we stand behind the products we carry. If something isn’t right with your order, we want to make it right. This policy covers how returns work, what qualifies, and what to expect once your return is on its way back to us.
Return Window & Eligibility
You have 30 business days from the date of delivery to request a return or exchange.
Important Hygiene & Sanitation Notice: Because our products include toilet brushes and bathroom cleaning tools, they are classified as sanitary items. For the health and safety of our customers and staff, we can only accept returns of items that are completely unused, unsoiled, and in their original, unopened packaging.
Items that are not eligible for return include:
Any product that has been taken out of its original packaging, assembled, or used in any capacity (even “lightly used”).
Products that have been intentionally damaged or subjected to misuse beyond normal handling.
Items returned with missing primary components (e.g., brush head, holder base, or mounting hardware).
Products that have been deliberately swapped with a different item — we reserve the right to reject returns where the received item does not match the original order.
If you’re unsure whether your item qualifies, email us first at Support@sanitizebrush.com — we’d rather answer a question upfront than turn away a legitimate return.
How to Initiate a Return
⚠️ Do NOT return any item without first contacting us and obtaining a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) code. Shipping packages without a pre-approved RMA code may significantly delay the processing of your return. Please make sure to contact us to get the correct return instructions before shipping.
To start a return:
Email Support@sanitizebrush.com with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and a brief explanation
Our team will review your request and respond within 1-3 business days
If approved, we will issue an RMA code and provide the return shipping address
Pack the item securely, write the RMA code clearly on the outside of the package, and ship it using a trackable method
Once your return is received at our returns address, processing begins within 1-3 business days
Return Shipping Costs
Who covers return shipping depends on the reason for the return:
Defective, damaged, or incorrect item received: Sanitizebrush will cover return shipping. For all products with quality issues, we are responsible for the return shipping fees and will cover all return shipping costs. Contact us first — we will provide a prepaid label or reimbursement instructions.
Change of mind or ordering the wrong size/style: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot be responsible for returns lost in transit.
Original outbound shipping fees are non-refundable except in cases where the error is on our end.
Restocking Fees
$0.00 Restocking Fee.
We do not charge any restocking fee on returned items, regardless of the reason. The refund you receive will reflect the full purchase price of the returned item(s), minus any non-refundable shipping costs where applicable.
Refund Process & Timeline
Once your return is received at our returns address, please allow the following timeframes:
Return Processing: 1–3 business days after receipt
Refund Issued: Within 1–3 business days of processing completion
Bank Processing: An additional 2–12 business days depending on your card issuer and financial institution
All refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout. We are not able to issue refunds to a different card or account. If you do not see the refund after 12 business days from the date we confirmed your return was received, please contact your bank first — then reach out to us if the issue persists.
Order Cancellations & Fraud Prevention
Cancellations: You may cancel your order within 12 hours of placing it, provided it has not yet entered the shipping process. To request a cancellation, email Support@sanitizebrush.com immediately with your order number in the subject line. Once an order has been handed off to the carrier, it can no longer be cancelled — a return must be initiated after delivery instead.
Fraud Prevention: Sanitizebrush reserves the right to refuse returns or refunds in cases of suspected fraud, including but not limited to: repeated return abuse, returns of items that are clearly not from our catalog, or patterns consistent with organized return fraud. We take these cases seriously and may decline future orders from accounts with a documented history of fraudulent return activity.
